We are Agnès and François Lencou. We arranged our two farmhouses following a geobiology and feng shui assessment, so that the house would feel healthy and harmonious. Breakfast is homemade, from organic and local produce.

About this accommodation

Our two stone farmhouses sit on a hillside, at the heart of a green 35-hectare natural estate. We are 4 kilometres from the village of Rémuzat and 600 metres above sea level, with a panoramic view over the Eygues valley, dominated by the Rocher du Caire and the Montrond cliffs, where a great many large birds of prey nest.

At the end of a small 1.5-kilometre road, the place lends itself to rest, to setting off on walks, and to watching the local wildlife and plants by day and by night. Our 4 rooms are named after an element of nature, Air, Fire, Water and Earth, according to the landscape they look onto. Each has its own entrance, its own shower room and a separate toilet.

The wellness area has a Finnish sauna and two hot tubs: one adjoining the house, the other out in the open among the broom, lavender, pines and box trees, where you feel alone in the world. Access to the hot tub and sauna is included in the nightly rate. We also offer massages by appointment, and there is the swimming pool.

A generous breakfast, made from organic, local and homemade produce, is included in the nightly rate. In the dining room you will find a coffee machine, a kettle, a microwave and crockery, and in the lounge corner some books, games and music. A utility room with a fridge and freezer takes your bags and your shopping, and the terraces are there for a picnic lunch.

Three points to avoid any disappointment: the house and all the rooms are non-smoking, we do not welcome pets, and our rooms are designed for two people, with no cot or extra bed available. Children are welcome from the age of 16.

The only one of our four rooms with two single beds of 90 × 200, which can be left apart or joined into one large bed. Like the others, it has its own entrance, shower room and separate toilet, with a wardrobe, a desk and a hair dryer.
