We are Hélène and Christian, and the Jas de Péguier is one big family: we welcome you along with all the animals of the estate. We prepare breakfast with fresh, homemade produce, from our garden or from local organic growers.

About this accommodation

Our rooms are all different and all independent from one another, which protects your privacy. Each has its own entrance and its private terrace or garden, with an open view over the olive trees, the peaks or the Lure mountain. We arranged them inside former 17th-century stone sheepfolds, the jas that are typical of this region.

The estate covers 2.5 hectares, 12 kilometres from Sisteron. You will find a young arboretum of more than 1000 species of trees and shrubs, and over 100 olive trees from which we press our own organic olive oil. The small tool hut and the aiguier, an old well sheltered by a rounded stone structure, are still standing. Calm, silence and nature are the real luxuries here.

During your stay you have access to the common area, with its equipped kitchen, its lounge and sunny terrace, its small bar and its barbecue. A petanque court and games are at your disposal: table tennis, table football, board games. The infinity pool is lined with Mediterranean plants, and the spa area, with its jacuzzi, looks out over the ruins of the old village of Les Chabannes.

Breakfast is homemade, with fresh produce from the garden or from local organic growers. We also offer an evening table and meal baskets to order. A 2CV awaits you for the roads of Haute-Provence, and we hire out electric bikes.
